Human Resources Generalist – Bilingual

The HR Generalist represents a Phoenix-area manufacturing site. He/She will be responsible for performing all assigned duties at a professional level, w/100% fluency in both English and Spanish. Primary knowledge, skills and abilities include: strong knowledge of US & AZ labor laws and good practices, 3 years’ experience successfully processing compensation and benefits utilizing an HRIS system, strong MS Office skills, recruiting, and resolving employee issues. Ideal candidate should be a good multi-tasker, highly organized and detail oriented.

Brief Description

• Processes weekly payroll
• Processes all personnel actions accurately, and in a timely manner
• Sources candidates, screens resumes, interviews candidates, makes offers, processes all new hire paperwork and conducts orientations
• Addresses and/or advises on all employee relations issues
• Conducts investigations and advises management on resolutions
• Maintains and secures all confidential personnel files
• Addresses and/or processes issues, incidents, and generates reports related to Workers Compensation, Leave, Vacation, PTO, Benefits administration, OSHA, etc.
• Ensures progressive discipline is applied and assists with employee terminations
• Conducts annual I-9 audits

Requirements

• 3 years’ strong experience as a Human Resources Manager or Generalist. Preferred applicants will have experience working with manufacturing, multi-shift environment.
• 3 years’ expert experience with HRIS system (ADP, Kronos, SAP, Paychex, etc.)
• 100% fluent in both English and Spanish
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.)
• BA in Human Resources (or combination of equivalent HR experience and/or related education).
